In this publication we demonstrate that therapeutic antibodies to CD20 trigger release of oxygen radicals from neutrophils. These antibodies mark leukemic cells for elimination by NK cells, but the oxygen radical release inactivated NK cells, which may limit the efficacy of these agents in the clinic.
